Brodi and I are doing great just living life. Brodi is taking classes this summer so he can graduate in April 2009 and I am just working and dancing. We have been getting a little bit of cabin fever because the weather has been so nasty we have not been able to go out much. But, I think summer is finally here (knock on wood). Las weekend we went up to Darby Cannyon (where Brodi proposed to me) and took a nice hike up to a waterfall, it was great to get out and enjoy to beautiful weather. I have also been enjoying the garage sales that come with the summer time. I LOVE garage sales. I have found a lot of hidden treasures lately. I got a glider, rocking chair, for $5 that I reapholstered in a red suede that now looks beatiful and I made matcing pillows. I also got an old coffee table I sanded down and painted black and now it looks like a brand new, really nice, coffee table. I also got a coat rack for behind the door and painted that so it looks really nice. And A LOT of other stuff I will post some pictures of later. I will also post some dance pictures as well.
Brodi just applied to Medical school and we are anxiously waiting for a response. Our number one choice is Unn of Iowa, but we are a little worried because of all the flooding that has been going on. I know some of the buildings are damaged, but I think they are mostly art and music buildings. The flooding in Iowa has been crazy, but luckily my parents are too affected by it because the waterplant is still good unlike in 1993. There really has not been much else that has happened, but I am trying to blog more so hopefully this tides people over for a while.
